I enjoyed "A Single Cluster of Grapes" so much that I decided to provide a companion piece. Scripture is full of metaphors that compare God's people to a vineyard. Some vines produce fruit and others do not. Christ tells his followers that he is the true vine, etc. The process of painting this picture was different for me. When I usually start to paint an abstract piece, I have no idea where it will take me. Here, I knew the subject beforehand and simply had to make choices of color and composition. It was great fun to produce. This is in a dark-brown wooden frame.
